| Description: | The Director of Pharmacy Services is responsible for the overall operation and development of assigned regional pharmacy locations and any other projects/duties as assigned. Specifically, the position will provide leadership and coordination of services to clinical and non-clinical personnel within the regional pharmacy, and coordination of services between the regional pharmacies and central production pharmacy. The Director of Pharmacy Services will serve as the liaison between the pharmacy staff and the VP of Specialty Clinical Services on all appropriate issues and will monitor staff for adherence to accepted standards of practice and compliance with appropriate regulatory agency guidelines. |
| Qualifications: | The Director of Pharmacy Services will possess a degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, and is currently licensed in the state of North Carolina. Prior pharmacy management experience is preferred. Three years of home infusion experience is desirable; computer knowledge, purchasing experience, home infusion accrediting knowledge, and clinical background preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skill and a valid driver's license
Must be willing to travel to NC, TN, VA to visit regional pharmacy locations. |
